Engineering:

As an engineering firm engaged in testing, adjusting, and balancing we are able to deliver a specialized level of service to our clients. We bring to this field an engineering understanding of system design; an engineering understanding of the underlying fundamentals of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer; and an engineering understanding of the instrumentation employed in this field and its proper application in varying field settings. All are essential components when performing investigations, solving difficult problems, and balancing critical systems.

Field Engineering:

Our experience and practice is rooted in field engineering of HVAC and buildings' mechanical utilities systems. As field investigators we are able to analyze and interpret existing systems and their operating conditions to document performance and solve problems. As field specialists we collaborate with the design engineering community. We are often engaged by design firms and corporations' internal engineering groups to augment their project teams. In such roles we typically provide lead investigative services, document existing conditions, performance-test systems, and analyze systems' capacities as part of problem corrections or prior to renovation design.

Principal Involvement:

Central to our philosophy of practice is the direct, hands-on involvement of a Principal Engineer in every aspect of a client's project. While technicians may assist in the field, fieldwork, calculations, and analysis are all performed personally by a Principal Engineer.

Specialty of Practice:

Our core focus is the practice of field engineering of HVAC and buildings' mechanical systems with an emphasis on investigations, testing, adjusting, and balancing. Design work is engaged by invitation only. We welcome collaborative work with other design firms, architects, corporate engineering groups, and consultants.

Equipment:

We maintain an extensive array of state-of-the-art field testing and analytical equipment. We also operate a flow testing and calibration laboratory; however, all of our instrumentation is independently calibrated and certified. Our equipment capabilities meet or exceed all national association standards.

Certification:

Our work can be certified, as required, by seal of a registered Professional Engineer. Many of our procedures and reporting formats are proprietary and are designed to exceed all national association standards. A Statement of Credentials is available for submission as necessary prior to any engagement.
